Relief work in, connection with the Jamaica hurricane is progressing satisfactorily. (Received August 19,. 8.50 a.m.) Advices from. Jamaica state that the Government is spending £20,000 in repairs to public buildings, roads and railways, besides making advances to fruit-growers.
