Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date May 7: — "The frozen meat market is very depressed, and prices are lower by to per lb since our last telegram. The frozen lamb market is unfavourably affect- , ed by the large quantity of damaged carcases that are offering. The quantity of new wool to ba admitted to the fourth series of wool sales, which, opens on July 7, is limited to 140,000 bales net."
