PRESENTATIONS.
♦ ■ | A social gathering of the residents of Purau was held in Messrs- Gardiner Bros' woolshed last Wednesday evening, to bid farewell to Mr J. B. Henderson, son of Mr Gideon Henderson, on his departure for the North Island. There was a large attendance, and Mr Henderson- was presented with a handsome marble clock, bearing a suitable inscription on a silver plate. The evening was pleasantly spentt in 1 music and dancing-
