The Magistrate's Court sat this morning at the usual hour, and at once proceeded tw discuss the desirableness of honouring the proclamation of peace by an adjournment. .Tfca'Magistrate, Mr R. Beetham, said that he thouglsb the Court should show its pleasure <at the receipt of the news by .postponing all defended cases, and thus giving .all those who were concerned an ppportunity of joining in the universal rejoicing.
