Tuesday, Feb. 18.\ (Before Captain. Willis. J.P., and Mr W. Cook, J.P.). Prohibition Order.—A prohibition order was issued 1 against ai man, on the application of his wife. Alleged Theft and Receiving Stolen Goods.—Jeremiah Sullivan was charged with -having stolen from the barque Lake Erie, between Dec, 15 and Feb. 16, 140 sacks,'valued at £3 10s, the property of Hugh Munro. Mr Beswick appeared for the accused. On tie application of the police, the case was adjourned to Wednesday. Feb. 26. Bail was allowed, accused in £5 and two sureties of £5 each.—Charles •Edwards was chafed with -having stolen from the 'barque Lake Erie 121 b of tea, valued afc 30s. and w>s Temfluded till Feb. 26 —€lara Sullivan, for whepi Mr Beswick appeared, was charged with laving received stolen godds, to wit. tea-, knowing it to We been stolen.. She was remanded to Feb. 26, a.ns was admitted' to bail in her own recognisance.
