The Minister of Lands was occupied on Saturday inspecting a property of the late Mx J. T. Thompson's trustees at Invercar-g-ill, which it is proposed should be purchased for workmen's homes, and the estate of Mr John Ten-neat at fieddon< N Bush which the settlers axe asking the Govern-, ment to purchase.
