The steamer Tagliaferro has been towed into port with her intermediate shaft and propeller broken. When the Prosperity, which went ashor* at Point Look-out, struck, her boat wan washed away and her crew took to the rigging, where they remained all night. They were throwm into the sea when the vessel broke up, but with the exception of the mate and the cook, whose names are ua« known, managed to reach the shore.
