Satokday, Feb. 15. (Before Captain Whitby, J.P.) Breaking a Window.-John Cltfrk, charged with drunkenness and with having broken a Avindow in the Sailors' Home on Friday night, stoutly denied the win-dow-breaking. The evidence, however, made it clear that the man, who had been ejected from the* Home ' on the previous evening, for having refused to pay.-for a meal, had thrown the bottom of a . glass tumbler through the window. He was fined 103, with seven days' imprisonment in default of payment.
