Drunkenness. — A male first offender, who failed to appear, was fined 10s and costs for being drunk in Addington on Jan. 2.— Charles Carlson, John Clifford, Margaret Webster, Sophia Tudbope and Mary Valadore were each fined 5s for drunkenness on Jan. 2. — A male first offender was also fined 53 for a similar offence. Obscene Languages. — John' Curran, charged witih using obscene language in High Street on Jan. 2, was convicted and fined 10s 'and costs. Constable Moore deposed that be hjid found tlie waitelv. on Hynson, and bad also arrested Momo, who denied' all knowledge of the offence, but the keys were found on him. Hynson gave evidence as to having bought the watch from Momo, who was sentenced to three months' imprisonment, wiith hard labour.
