She waa one of thnee affectriioiraatte women who -were only proved by the violence of their hiasbandis. He knocked her about and she bad* to appeal to the police, and' then, to her credit, she, dike a woman, dbanged! night mound! and; took iher husband's parfc. . That was her loyalty, anidl what .thanks did the husband show? He accused iher of "dimmfcenness. He would 1 (have to go tio prison for fouirteeni days. The wife wouiMi ~ba finedl ss.
