, THE ANNUAL' MEETING. ' [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, July 22. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Rowing Association, which is to he held in Wellington on August 31, will be more than usually important. The Canterbury Rowing Club and the Christ qhurch Amateur Rowing Club will propose tnat the Association's headquarters shall be removed from Wellington to Christchurch, and that a provisional committee shall be set up in the kitten city to- manage the affairs of thfe Association until its appointment is revoke^." The Otago, Queen's Drive and Waitema+a Clubs will move for the appointment of local Associations, with power of local government. " * ■
