NEW ZEALAND CEIA'MPIONKH'IiP TOURNAMENT. [Per Pbess Association.] PiAI*MEIRISTON NORTH, April 11. * The draughts tournament was concluded last night, Gardiner (Gore) winning the championship, with a score of 18£ points, or half a point in front of Brodie, the ex-cham-pion, and Mulvey. At the annual meeting of the' New Zealand Draughts Association, Mr Robinson CChristchuroh) was -elected president, and vice-presi-dents were 'appointed from various parts of the colony. The visitors were entertained at a banquet by the local club Ins-f; pvnniner.
