Over a (thousand people assembled at Tati&rsaUV'"on Saturday evening, when ''Broncho George," assisted toy George Hewitt, gave a very good exhibition, of tho use of. tho lassoo, after which there was some ,stirrilig and amusing riding. After Hewitt and " Broncho George '" had shown their powers of sitting buck jumpers, a cabhorse about eighteen years of age was brought in. A Mexican saddle was placed on the .'horse, and a local celebrity agreed to ride ; it, but before he could get on, the aaimairgave as good 'an, exhibition! of buckjuiiipiiigLas has been seen here for a long time.^nid the igeatlemaii apparently changed his mind. A well-known rider, Mr Alfred Keith, then- got on. and had as very rough seat, but yfas uever/unseated. Afterwards Mv Keith roda a >vevy nasty customer in a colonial saddle, amd did a smart piece of work (by bringing- the saddle back into its position after the liorse had got it over its ' wither, nnd for'thishfe was; loudly applauded. Young Hvxitt then rocle a couple of steers with a rope surcingle, and although the ani-. mals cut some queer capers ( he kept his seat. The entertainment will be repeated thia evening, when several horses with bad reputations will be ridden.
