WEATHER FORECAST.
The following -weather -forecast was telegraphed ftom Wellington, to-day:— ■ Wind moderate, and from' the -westward, at all placeß northward of Napier and New Plymouth, Btrong from bu tween the north-east and north and west thence southward to Lyttelton amd HokHdi-a, and etrong from between the north■weet and west and south elsewhere. The barometer will further rise northward of Napier asd New Plymouth and fell «t all other pieces. The e£a -will be considerable on all the western * coagk ahtl between Castle Point and Lyttelton. T_>a iia*» will he good on all the western coast •nd tiso on the east coast south of Castle t*emi_ and moderate elsewhere. Rain, is probable in -the South Island south of Westport and Lyttelton. Frost is to be expected in the fWa-iakto iand on the high country of the (•forth Island south of Thames and Manukau, and » very cold night in the, north. Synopsis Af fte last twenty-four hours:— An increasing - iaa_»u.e everywhere. Rain hae fallen on part Ot th* east coast of the North Island, end there hae been a frost on all the high country northward of the Bealey, and also at Tauranga.'
