MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

The usual monthly meeting of the Tai Tapu Band c.f Hope was held in the district schoolroom en Sunday afternoon last. Mr J. W. filler, the President, occupied the chair. The programme consisted of vocal selections by Missed Dulieu (2), Suckling* N. Herrick and Harding (Willowby) ; recitations by Misses Lowe and Armstrong and Masters Harry Wills and Hubert Watson 5 and an address by Mr R. A. Forbes.
