The following' additional subscriptions have been received for the local patriotic fund:— East Christchurch School, £2 7s 4d; Hcatbcote Valley Public School, 16s Id; J.M.8., £1 Is ; Ross and Glendining's list, £2 Is; Bing, Harris and Co.'s list, £1 17s 6d; .National 'Bank's list — Wood and Laurie, £2 2s; W. Overend, £1 Is ; C. F. Bourne, £2 2s ; W. Bourne, £1 Is ; A. Ferguson, £2 2s ; Charles Hurst, £5 ; and K. M'lntosh, £1. Collected by Dr Mickle— Mr Atkinson, £1 ; Mr M. A. Lucey, ss ; Miss Bosom worth, ss ; Mr Davis, ss; Mr J. W. H. Wood, ss; Mrs Row, ss ; Mrs Amos, ss ; smaller sums, 3s. The Mayor of Christchurch this morning cabled £300 to the Lord Mayor of London, the amount being remitted by the Bank of New Zealand free of charge.
