CYCLING.

A meeting of the committee of the Christchurch Cycling Club was held last night, when the Secretary reported that he had already received over fifty entries for the New Zealand Wheel Race, also that the Auckland champion, E. Reynolds, would be present at the meeting. The following gentlemen were elected officers for the race meeting on Dec. 16 and 18:— Referee, Mr R. C. Bishop ; judges, Mr J. J. Kinsey, Dr Palmer and Mr F. T. Pannell ; result board, Messrs A. Hobbs, G. Martin aod J. lompkins; starter, Mr W. G. Williams; clerks of course, Messrs J. H. Thompkins and W. Jackson : timekeepers, Messrs G. Jones, K. H. Thompson and F. S. Malcolm ; scratching board, Messrs T. E. Hall and S. MOormick; lap-keeper, Mr 0. Pannell ; stewards, Messrs W. E. Thompson, E. H. James, K Nordon and A. C. Duff ; Press steward, Mr E. W. Clarkson.
