A cricket match was played on the Sheffield Domain on Thursday between the East Malvern C.C. and a team from Rangiora, and resulted in a victory for East Malvern by an innings and 42 runs. The scores were— East Malvern, 104 (R. Colthart 24, A. M'Nae 15, Colthart 15, E. Colthart 12), and Raiigjota, 19 and 43. E. Colthart and W^Coltharb. bowled well for East Malvern, and Chapman and Felton -were the most successful bowlers for Rangiora.
