KIRWEE.
' At the Kirw«e SaJeyards on Friday, from 3000 to 4000 sheep were on offer, all classes being represented. There was a good attendance of both farmers and dealers, and bidding for all prime freezers was good, but rather slack for half-finished sorts and stores. A good few entries of the latter description were passed at auction, some, however, being placed privately afterward. The following prices were obtained : — Best freezers 18s Id to 20s 9d, others 16s 4d to 17s 6d ; butchers' fat cross-bred ewes 12s 6d i/6 17s 3d, merino wethers 11s 5d to 13s 9d, cross-bred hoggets 12s 9d to 14s Id, forward cross-breds 13s 3d to 16s Id, cross-bred ewes arid lambs 8s lid to 9s 9d (all counted) ; cattle, pigs, etc., sold at market rates.
