Mi- W. Wright's C6rly- bie was first with twenty-seven points ; Mr ? . A.' Kennedy's Clive, second, scored twenty- - five points ; and Mr T. Macdonald's Dan was E. 'third 'with, twenty-tliree points: The other t. dpgs to bring in. their sheep were Mr D. s 1 Gillanders's Laddie, Mr A. F. Roberta's J> Glen, Mr C. E. Lewis's Dash, and Mi- J. ■ S. Weir's Tob. In the Yarding event, some » splendid work was shown, and sixteen dogs yarded their sneep, the first prifcej going to | iMr G. Jones's Bob, which yarded in Bmin :30sec, and gained twenty-nine points. Mr [ 'J. Kennedy's Wet, twenty-eight' points, which yarded in lOmin 48sec, was second. ! Mr W. Munro's Sandy was third with twen- ; -ty-six points. Other dogs to yard weTe Mr ■ jD. Gillanders's Laddie, ( Mr H.; Inttle's Gather, and Mr M'Glashan's Rogue. In . ' I tlie Hunt-away competition, only . one dog .': .did all the work required. Mr Firmston's iNigger secured' twenty points, but the. other . 'dogs not get the sheep through* the top flags. ; Mr H. D. Buchanan kindly 'gave the use of his ground, and Mr W. O. Rutherford ;p cited' as judge.
