Correspondence was read- I—From1 — From the Colonial Secretary, stating that the provisions of the Act with reference to the 'printing of the annual balance-sheet of the borough must be complied with. The letter was received. The Town Clerk reported the receipts since last meeting to have been £10 2s. 3d, and the credit balance at the bank as £87 5s 9d. The Finance Committee laid before the Council estimates of the income and .expenditure for the incoming year, which showed an estimated credit balance of £194. The report was received. Several accounts were : passed for ... payment..
