CYCLING.
A meeting of ths Pioneer Bicycle Club was held last evening. Mr J. L. Carl was inthe chair. Matters in connection with the road race to be held on May 24 were ■discussed, and it was decided to make the race an open one. It was decided that the ! closing, run of the club should be held next week. I A special general meeting of the Pioneer Bicycle Club will be held on Friday evening, ■when- a motion will be brought forward to consider the advisability of seceding fimi the League of Wheelmen and joining che I Cyclists' Alliance. Other matters of great ! importance to members will also be brought j forward.
