AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Per Pkess Association.] AUCKLAND, May 16. ! The Harbour Board has approved the Chairman's action in making arrangements with the Auckland Savings Bunk for a loan of £60,000, as required, for twenty years, to equip the Calliope Dock, the rate of interest to lie £3 15s per cent. The Auckland University Council has re-engaged the pre'ent professors for the ensuing year, on the same terms as in the past.
