CARLIST WILES IN SPAIN.

A despatch from Madrid states that a religious service was celebrated in the San Hiaronimo Church on March. 13 in memory of the Carlists who fell in the colonial wars.. Three hundred repatriated soldiers from Cuba were present. The attention of the authorities was. drawn to the celebration,' and an inquiry ' was opened, , in the course of which it was brought out that the Carlists offered five pesetas to the repatriated soldiers to attend the service, and that groups of these men were afterwards seen going to the headquarters of the Carlisfc Club to receive the sum agreed upon. The Carlists are making great efforts to gain . over the recently disbanded troops to their side.
