CITY COUNCIL.
A statutory meeting of the City Council for *.he purpose of signing the ratepayers', residential and freeholders' lists was* held at the Council's offiq__ at noon to-day; present — the Mayor and Councillors , Pradhoe, Payling, Smith, Sorensen, Samuels, Hamilton, Kincaid, Andrews and Sandstein. The- Mayor said this was a meeting for the hearing and determining of objections to and signing of the burgess lists. On the motion of Councillor "Pradhoe, seconded by Councillor Sorensen, Councillors Smith and Payling were deputed to inspect and sign the rolls, and the meeting closed.
