In the course of an application for a receiver in the late Mr Tyson's estate, it was stated that the estate was sworn at over two millions sterling. irlE ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION. HOB ART, Dec. 17. The Southern Cross sailed for the Antarctic to-day. The Borchgrevink party placed a wreath on Sir John Franklin's statue. THE MAHINAPUAMELBOURNE, Dec. 17. The damage to the Mahinapua is less than was supposed, and below the water-line is very slight. The cargo is not damaged.
