MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The fortnightly meeting of the Anchor Ledge of Druids* was held in the Lodge Room, Woolston, on Wednesday, A.D. Bro H. Eastwick in the chair. One candidate was initiated. A circular was received from the Society for the Interchange of Medical Benefits relative to proposed amendments to the Friendly Societies Act. The question was ordered to be held over till quarter night. A circular was received from thp Friendly Societies' Benevolent Association regarding the amending of the constitution, and the delegates were directed as to voting.
