DUNEDIN, Sept. 21. i'afc cattle— 2o^ head, iyere . xfad^S. Prices remained at about last we&k a level. Prime bullocks brought £8 10s to .£lO 10s, good £7 to £8, medium .£6 to .£6 15s, light aud unfinished .£3 10s to .£5 10s j prime cows and. heifers .£6 10s to £7 10s, good .£5 10s to £6, light and inferior £3 to .£4. Fat sheep — A very large market, 4903 being penned, including 159 merinoes. Prices showed a decline of from 6d, for prime sorts, to Is for unfinished lines. Prime cross-bred wethers sold at 14s to 16s 6d, good 12s to 13s 6d, light 8s 6d to 11s 6d, merino wethers 10s 3d to 11s 3d. Pigs — 93 were penned. Competition was exceedingly good, and prices were in favour of vendors. Suckers 8s to 14s, slips 16s to 19s, stores 20s to 265, porkers 28s to 38s, baconers 40s to 50s, heavy pigs up to 595.
