[Per Press Association I .] HAWERA, Sept. 22. For the second day 'Of the Egmont Racing Club's Spring Meeting the weather is fine. Results: — SECOND HURDLE HANDICAP, of 90 soys; two miles — Troubadour 1, Kanaka 2, Alpine 3. All started. A splendid race. Marina and Nor'-west fell. Time — 3min 36 3-ssec. Dividends — £4 9s and £2 3s. SECOND HACK HUrtDLE HANDICAP, of 40 soys; one mile and three-quarters — Cairo 1, Taravento 2, Disraeli 3. Won easily. Time — 3min 37sec. Dividends— £l 15s and 19a. THIRD HACK FLAT HANDICAP, of 40 soys ; one mile and a quarter — Uhlan 1, Taplow 2, Starlight 3. All started. Won very easily. Time — 2min 17aec. Dividends — £1 16s and 18a.
