MARKET REPORTS.
Although there has been a slightly better demand for wheat, prices have not materially altered. There has been some movement in oats at recent quotations. Southland oats of good quality are reported as being firmer, but the poorer sorts are neglected. The.potato market remains extremely quiet. Chaff continues to be exported to the North Island at 55s at country stations. The local market is filling with sheaves at 62s 6d and 655, delivered.
