■ ♦ LADY HALLE KILLED. United Press Association— By Electrio Telegraph— Copyright. LONDON, Sept. 15. Information has been received that Lady Halla (Madame Norman Kefiida), the cele-. brated violiniste, has been killed on thd Alps by a falling rock. (Lady Halle, the famous violinist, known before she married the late Sir Charles Halle in 1888 as Madame Norman-Neruda, came of a famous musical family, and was born at Brunn, in 1840. After studying under Jansa, she made her debut at Vienna in 1846, and at once excited enthusiasm by her wonderful execution. Her first appearance in London was at a Philharmonic concert in 1849. Thenceforward her career was one long sucoess, both in Great Britain and on the Continent. Her first husband was a Swedish musician, Ludwig Norman. Sir Charles Halle died in 1895).
