ENTERTAINMENTS.

A most enjoyable " social " was held in the Druids' Hall, Ohoka, en Monday, to bid farewell, to Air and Mrs Marshall, who are leaving the district. The hall was well filled, about three hundred being present. The chair was occupied by Mr Walters, who, with the Revs Cruden, Grigg and Fairclough, spoke highly of Mr and Mrs Marshall's devotedness to church work in the district. Messrs Wright, Evans, Chatterton and Clothier expressed their regret at losing; such good citizens and neighbours. ' Refreshments were handed round by the ladies of the district, and an excellent programme was carried through, several ladies and gentlemen contributing vecal and musical items. Mr Marshall feelingly replied, and expressed his regret at severing his connection with the .district and old neighbours. •■'.'.
