FOOTBALL.
TO-MORROW'S MATCH. Mr R. Murphy, one of the Otago football team, while practising in the North Park this morning, received a somewhat severe blow on the eyfr, in cqnseqtience of a collision with the head of another player. Though the pain at the time was severe, it is probable that Murphy will be able., to play to-morrow, in default of the doctor's orders to the. contrary. At the match, Otago v. Canterbury, which will be played at Lancaster Park tomorrow afternoon, special efforts have been made to provide extra seating accommodation for visitors. The terrace on the north side of the new stand has been fenced in and provided with seats, and from here an excellent view of the game may be obtained. Mrs A. E. G. Rhodes will provide afternoon tea for all ticket-holders in both stands and enclosure. 'i£.,,/ The Otago football team arrived at LyK telton at seven o'clock this morning, and were met by several officers of the Canterbury Rugby. Union. During the morning they had some practice on the North Park, and this afternoon they were taken for a drive. Mr A. M'Robie, of Invercargill, who will act as referee in to-morrow's game, will arrive by to-night's express.
