The weather this morning was cold and bleak, with afresh wind from the south, accompanied by light showers. The attempt to complete the regattaf ailed, andthe championships are now set down for two o'clock, bub there is very little chance of their being rowed. The Eev Will, Moderator of the Otago Synod, has received the honorary degree of Doctor of Divinity from his alma mater, the Edinburgh University. The weather is showery and wintry, and the schools demonstration has been postponed till Saturday next. The Governor and the Premier left by the express for the north.
