Batubday, March 26. (Before Mr J. Hamilton, J.P.) Criminal Assault. — Martin Hansen, who had only been arrested that morning, was charged' with having committed a criminal assault oh a child of tender years, and on the application of the police was remanded until April 4.

Cases Dismissed. — Daniel Bremford yras charged with damaging a water tap and trough. Case dismissed ; as was also a case against Albert Eeed for damaging a fence.

Education Act. — The parents of John and Cissy Vidulech and Ethel Seymour were each fined 2s and costs for not sending their children regularly to school.
