CHEISTCHUECH. Saturday, March 26. (Before Mr E. Beetham, S.M.) Alleged Theft. — Margaret Smyth was charged with stealing an overcoat in Davis' Lane, value £1, the property of James O'Brien. Mr Donnelly appeared for the accused, who pleaded not guilty. After hearing the evidence, Mr Beetham dismissed the charge. Obscene Language. — George Gedder pleaded not guilty to using obscene language in Davis' Lane. Elizabeth Smyth also pleaded not guilty to a charge of obscene language and drunkenness. The charges were dismissed.
