ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. fPsB Pbess Association *] NAPIER, Marsh 24. The New Zealand Polo Association** tournament was opened at Hastings in brilliant weather to-day. The result of the play was to show that Hawke's Bay players are entirely overweighted and under-horsed, and they will have to show much improvement before they h a \o any chance of winning the Cap. The first, match was between Wharerangi and Hawke's Bay Third, and was won easily by the former by ten goals to four. The first round for the Savile Cup wes fought out by Bangitikei and Hawke's Bay First, and was won by the former by fifteen goals to two. Bangitikei showed splendid combination, which enabled them to walk over the home team. Te A rai then met Hawke's Bay Second, and won easily, scoring fourteen goals to nil.
