A POLICE -INQUIRY.
[Per Press Association.! AUCKLAND, March 24. An inquiry was held to-day before In-r spector Hickson into complaints made by certain citizens against one of the members of the Force. There was also a charge preferred by a constable against his immediate superior officer. The outcome was that the constable tendered his resignation from the Force. A citizen is about to apply for a summons against another constable on the ground that he had ex- | ceeded his duty.
