MOTOR CARS.
Trials of two motor cars -which have been -built to the order of Mr- W. M'Leant have been made in Wellington this week. They are seated for twenty or thirty persons, run up to twenty miles an hour, and are driven by gas generated from benzolene. The trials have been successful, and the company for which the cars have been procured intend to import a number of larger cars for passenger traffic in the streets. Mr M'Leah, while in England lately, inspected a number of different cars and chose those built by Benz, of Paris.
