— — ♦ IPbB PRESS ASSOCIATION. I AUCKLAND, March 16. At the inquest on Robert Sergeant, killed in Wyndham Street, a verdict was returned of "Death by serous apoplexy, excited by a fall under the feet of a horse." At the Bay of Islands district licensing meeting it was decided, as applications for additional licenses were coming in so rapidly for every Native and hack race 1 meeting, that no more would be granted,, and that at the next annual meeting of the Committee the number of conditional' licenses would be limited.
