SPORTING.
OXFOED RACES. The weather was fine for the annual race meeting of the Oxford Jockey Club held yesterday, and there was a very good attendance. The committee's arrangements gave every satisfaction. OXFORD OUP HANDICAP, of 10 soya and cup. second 2 sots ; oue mile and a quarter — Zola, lOsfc 61b, 1 ; Winoermere, lOst 71b, 2 ; Camel, lOst 51b, 3, FARMEES 1 PLATE, of 8 soys, second 1 soy; weight l'Jst; one mile— M.D., 1 ; FiraflylL, 2; Naucy, 8. DISTRICT TROT, oF 7 soys, second 1 soy ; one mile and a half— Klohdyke, 1; Little Don-it, '2; Sweet Marie, 3. PLYiNG HANDICAP, of 8 sovji, second I soy; six furlongs— Battery, 1 ; Wiuderinere, 2 ; Camel, The Pony Eace and the Consolation Race had not been run when the train for town left.
