MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.

The usual session of the Hope of Christchurch Lodge of Good Templars was held on Tuesday evening, Sister Ashbolt, C.T., presiding. There was a large attendance of visitors and members, inoluding bluejackets from H.M.S. Tauranga. Correspondence from the Band of Hope Union was received. Sister Eastwood, L.D., declared the result of the election for District Deputy as follows:— Bro A. H. Pellingham 20, Bro T. C. Hill 11, Bro J. D. Wilson 9. Bro Fellingham thanked the meeting for returning him for a second term. Greetings from England, Welling«>n, Australia and the Gem of the Sea Lodge were received.
