THE ST ALBANS LOAN. TO THE EDITOR. Sib, — A letter appeared in the Star last evening saying the figures which have : been published are not correct. They are j quite correct. The rate on the J.IOO is ! 15s 7_d at present ; on .£l2B the rate is just 1 _31 ; so if the loan is carried it will amount ( to 4s lOAextra on every pound of the pre- . sent rate.
