THE HAEAPEPE MUEDEB. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, March 11. HeinrichPohlen,chargedatthe Supreme Court with the murder of Patrick Corcoran at Harapepe on Nov. 12, pleaded .not guilty. Terence Corcoran, son of the L deceased, deposed that he and his father , were withdrawing posts inserted by John Pohlen, son of the accused, and putting 1 in other posts on the disputed > boundary, i when the accused came up with a gun, said something about Queen Victoria, and shot Patrick Corcoran, who died almost instantly. He admitted that there had been bad feeling between the families for some time concerning the land in dispute. The defence was that tbe accused was not of sound mind, and for some time*, had not been responsible for his actions.
