CYCLING.
[Per I'itsss Association.! TIMAEU, March 10. At the meeting of the Tourists' Cycling Club last night, to discuss the transfer from the Alliance to the League, there was a lively discussion. A majority was for the League, but the ballot was declared informal, and a fresh ballot will be taken next Wednesday. THE CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. The entries for the various events at the meeting to be held in Dunedin on March 24 and 26 are exceptionally good, and are as follows :— Half-mile (cash), 17 ; One-mile (cash), 18 ; Three-mile (cash), 17 • Fivemile (cash), 17 ; Ten-mile (cash), 18. There are thirty-six entries for the Half-mile Handicap, and for the One and Two-mile Handicaps there are thirty-eight and thirty - nine respectively. For the Royal Enfield Challenge Cup, valued at «£7o, nineteen have entered. Amongst the entries are riders from Sydney, Melbourne, Ireland, Ballarat, Queensland and from every part of this colony. The amateur events are well filled for the One, Two, Three, Five and Tenmile Championships, thirteen entries each The athletic events are also well filled.
