CRICKET.
At a meeting of representatives of Thursday Clubs last week it was decided not to arrange any more matches this season. The following team was picked to represent the Thursday players in a match to be played at Lancaster Park on Thursday against a Lancaster Park eleven : — Frankish, Turner and Page (Hardware), Steeds, Brown and Petrie (Farmers' Cooperative), Voyce and Deal (Hagley Park), Lawrence and Jones (Sydenhnm) and D. Mahar (Lyttelton).
