[Peb Pbess Association. I AUCKLAND, Mauch 7. A preliminary meeting of citizens was held at the Young Men's Christian Association's Rooms regarding the " skingrafting case," Baker v. Purclias. There wa9 a representative gathering, and a sub- - committee was appointed to draw \xp an address of sympathy to Miss Ethel Baker, to be submitted to 'a farther meeting on Thursday, preparatory to a public meeting on Monday next, when resolutions will be submitted for consideration and adoption.
