Sir George Turner states that there must be some misunderstanding in London with reference to the alleged conversion of a Victorian loan. The only form in which the matter has been dealt with was that he had instructed Sir Andrew Clarke to prepare a Bill relating generally to the conversion of loans, so that in future they could take advantage of a favourable market.
