Beceired March 7, 11 a.m. LONDON, March & Akassa reports that the force collected by "Wallace, the Agent- General, , and the Royal Niger Company, to assist the Sultan of Sokoto, in the event of the incursion of French expeditions, has reached Lokoja, and is advancing on Sokoto. Should the French expeditions refuse to re-cross the Niger, Wallace's force will assUt the Sultan in repelling them.
