GRAIN AND PRODUCE. The wheat market remains firm, and a fair quantity has changed hands at 3s lid to 4s Id at country stations, according to distance. For oatß there is a good demand, but a limited supply, as farmers seem inclined to hold. The barley market is less firm than it has been, and buyers are not operating with any spirit. There has been some business done in potatoes for forward delivery. Grass seed remains without alteration in price, but as farmers now are showing a disposition to meet merchants a good deal of cocksfoot has been sold. : i Latest quotations are : — ; Wheat. — Old Pearl 4s 4d to 4s od , Tuscan 4s 3d to 4s 4d, Hunter's 4s' Id to 4s 2d ;■ 1 new Pearl, Tuscan and Hunter's 3s lQd to 4s at country stations. •. ; ..." ■ Oats. — Milling Canadians 2s 4d, stout feed 2s 2d to 2s 3d, Duns and Danish 2s 3d to 2s 4d. OATBHEAF Chaff. — 60s to 60s at country stations for bright clean quality. Beans.— Scarce, 2s 9d to 2s lOd. Peas.— Blue Prussian 4s to 4s 3d, Partridge 3s 3d to 3s 4d. Geass Seed. — Ryograss, farmers' lots, 2s 3d to 3s 6d; machine-dressed 3s 9d to 4s 3d, heavy-weight 4s 6d. Cocksfoot, farmers' lines, discoloured 2d to 2£d, bright'Beed 2fd to 3d.
